Yarrow Side Creatives is my business, my passion, and my creative outlet- and I'm so happy you're here! I'm a busy mom of 3, small shop enthusiast and a passionate advocate for ethical and inclusive fashion... oh, and I'm also a pretty awesome photographer, if I do say so myself!
Named after my teeny tiny hometown in British Columbia and early fishing adventures with my husband, this company is the culmination of my journey as a photographer, mother, and a creative. It brings me joy to photograph families and absolutely love working with local brands to create gorgeous content.

Shana has an insane ability of capturing pictures we didn’t even think possible during the sessions, and we’re always genuinely shocked by the beautiful quality she produces! She was very organized, from start to finish ; from arranging our session, ready with additional photo props for my young children & sending out final photos. Shana has such a cheerful and energetic personality its hard not to fall in love with her instantly! My daughter took a liking to her and was chatting her ear off the entire photo session! Shana has such a wonderful way with kids it makes the photo session feel like a walk in the park with a friend ❤ The images we recieved were incredibly beautiful and we couldn't have asked for more! As soon as she is offering sessions again we are signing up for another family shoot!
